At Academic Trainers, we focus on the student's primary curriculum, rather than introducing our own curriculum and materials. In other words, we are homework-based and focus on the materials students are currently working on in school. We find that our method helps students gain confidence in their school work since they often see immediate results in their abilities and in their grades!

Other educational centers have students take their site's education assessment and then provide the site's materials to the student. For example, if you have a child in the 3rd grade who is struggling in math, other centers would have the student work in a generic Math level 1 book. Often times this materials does not match what the student is currently covering in class and can make learning math even more frustrating for the student. We, at Academic Trainers, focus on the text book and classwork each student is working on in class to help prepare them for upcoming materials and assignments.
